The Tenshock SC401V2 is the successor to the highly successful SC401V1 motor. The stator now uses a "Y" winding which produces a lower idle current, and the rotor is now a hand-wrapped Kevlar unit to ensure reliable performance at any RPM. The reduced current allows the V2 to run at an average of 10% cooler than the V1 version before it. What hasn't changed is the 4-pole powerhouse design housed in a beautifully machined billet-aluminum can with ultra-low friction bearings and high-purity windings.
