CTRC backyard Series

CTRC in Menifee California is having their second round of the backyard series on a fresh layout this weekend. No better old school racing in the Country. Track got a fresh rebuild and I'm sure good times will follow. 15 first class 15 additional. Trackmate transponders will be used and I will have some for sale for $30 at the race. I learned and expensive lesson, that i already knew. Everyone says lithium polymer batteries can be dangerous. I was letting some new drivers drive e buggy for the first time and had an older 2s pack for my wheeler charging on the bench, older but IR under 4-5 per cell, tiny puff that is normal with some, I wont say, brands. Quick tip from a weekend racer. Recently I went from a club race at CTRC in Menifee California to a Club Race at Thunder Alley in Beaumont and then back to an annual race at CTRC. At CTRC my truggy was working perfectly and other than driver error it was perfect, rotating in and out of corners off then on power with no slide or hooking. When I got to thunder alley the next weekend which is a much larger and faster track I had issues. I got my kid on the track and I only got a couple packs...
